St Piran’s Cross, Perranporth Religion is one of the most ancient strands of Cornish history, junior only to the landscape itself. The Victoria County History Religious History Project is studying its organisation and impact in Cornwall up to the mid sixteenth century. Investigations will cover the parish system, parish churches, monasteries, clergy, and people.
