VCH of C has awoken from a slumber of some 100 years to continue writing the history of this wonderful place and the team invites Cornish folk and lovers of Cornwall from all over the world to visit us from time to time, to let us have your feedback on what you see, and just as importantly, what you would like to see on the site.

We differ from other sites in that we are aiming to appeal to people of all ages and interests. For the academic minded we provide a direct link into the national Victoria County History site, where the draft text of the new volumes is displayed as it becomes available. For the inquisitive we plan to feed you with interesting snippets of information, always backed by evidence. Some will be light hearted, some more serious. With the cooperation of our Education Department we will be sharing completed projects done by members of our school and college communities. Perhaps you will see work done by the current pupils of your own primary school.

We will, of course, keep you up to date with progress on the VCH projects currently being undertaken - the religious houses of Cornwall up to the reformation and the fishing industry based on the Mounts Bay communities.
